Silcotech is proud to have participated in the Velocity 2024 Ride, an event that raises crucial funds to support Caledon Seniors. As one of the top 5 donors, Silcotech’s involvement highlights the company’s commitment to promoting the health, wellness, and independence of seniors in the Caledon community.

The Velocity Ride, an annual event organized by Caledon Community Services, is designed to raise funds for programs and services that help local seniors lead engaged, active lives. This year, the Silcotech team took part in the 10-kilometer ride, actively participating in both the event and fundraising efforts in the months leading up to the ride.

Through their dedication and generosity, the team helped raise funds that will directly support essential services for seniors, including transportation options and health and wellness programs. These services are vital in ensuring seniors can maintain their independence and enjoy a high quality of life within the community.

“Supporting our local seniors is an important part of who we are at Silcotech,” said Silcotech employee Raphael Boettger. “The Velocity Ride is a fantastic way for us to give back and contribute to the health and well-being of those who have contributed so much to our community.”

The funds raised through the Velocity ride will continue to support Caledon Community Services’ efforts to enhance the lives of seniors, helping them remain active, socially connected, and able to access necessary services.

Silcotech’s participation in this event underscores the company’s dedication to making a positive impact on the community. For more information on the event and how you can contribute, visit caledoncommunityservices.akaraisin.com/ui/Velocity2024.
