Silcotech North America is proud to announce the appointment of Yogesh Chauhan as Chief Executive Officer, effective April 2025. This leadership transition marks a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to excellence in liquid silicone rubber (LSR) injection molding.
With over 25 years of experience in the medical and automotive sectors, Mr. Chauhan brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of success. Having joined Silcotech in 2010, he has been instrumental in driving our company’s growth and innovation. In his new role, Mr. Chauhan will oversee all executive functions, including operations, design, tooling, project management, supply chain, and quality/regulatory affairs. He will also spearhead our sustainability initiatives, ensuring that Silcotech remains at the forefront of environmentally responsible manufacturing practices.

This leadership change coincides with several other strategic personnel moves within the company. We are pleased to announce the appointments of Raphael Boettger as Purchasing Specialist, Manpreet Kaur as EHSQ (Environment, Health, Safety, and Quality) Specialist, Wei Li as Quality Manager, and Shane Nixon as Production Manager. These changes reflect our dedication to strengthening our team and enhancing our capabilities to better serve our clients across the medical, healthcare, automotive, packaging, and consumer electronics markets.
Silcotech remains committed to delivering high-precision, high-volume LSR molding solutions in cleanroom environments. With Mr. Chauhan at the helm, we are confident in our ability to navigate the evolving landscape of the manufacturing industry and to continue providing innovative solutions that meet the complex needs of our clients.

Raphael is a Purchasing Specialist at Silcotech North America Inc., a global leader in precision silicone molding. He has completed multiple purchasing and IT projects for the advancement of Silcotech’ s manufacturing. Raphael has contributed in website design content and social media including LinkedIn. He is also key player in green initiatives of the business. Raphael’s involvement in the company underscores his commitment to advancing manufacturing technologies and contributing to the local economy.
Beyond his career in purchasing, Raphael is deeply committed to community service. He serves as the president of the Palgrave Rotary Club, a local chapter of Rotary International dedicated to community development and humanitarian efforts.
His leadership reflects a dedication to fostering community spirit and supporting local causes. Through his diverse professional endeavors and community involvement, Raphael Boettger exemplifies a commitment to both his craft and his community.
Manpreet Kaur is an EHSQ Specialist at Silcotech North America Inc., a global leader in precision silicone molding. In her current role, Manpreet oversees operational processes and ensures compliance with ISO standards to maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, and operational efficiency. She holds a master’s degree in physics and earned her Internal Auditor certification from BSI in December 2023. Additionally, she completed her First Aid certification in December 2023 and further enhanced her qualifications by obtaining the JHSC certification in January 2025. Manpreet is dedicated to promoting a safe and compliant work environment. Notably, she played a key role in the development of Silcotech’s Multi-Year Accessibility Plan for 2023-2027, underscoring her commitment to fostering an inclusive and accessible workplace. Manpreet’s dedication to operational excellence and accessibility contributes significantly to Silcotech’s mission of providing innovative and efficient silicone manufacturing solutions.
Wei Li is the Quality Manager at Silcotech North America Inc., a global leader in precision silicone molding, bringing over 22 years of manufacturing experience to her role. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Optics (1994) and has earned certifications as a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) in 2006 and a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) in 2009 from ASQ.
For the past 18 years, Wei has held various positions at Silcotech, including Quality Engineer, Process Development Specialist, and Operations Analyst. She is committed to driving continuous quality and process improvements to ensure operational excellence and contribute to the company’s success. Wei supports manufacturing by implementing scientific molding and completing processes and product analysis.
Shane Nixon serves as Production Manager at Silcotech North America Inc., a global leader in precision silicone molding. In his role, Shane is responsible for overseeing and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure the production of high-quality silicone components for various industries, including medical, healthcare, automotive, and consumer electronics.
Silcotech North America Inc. operates a manufacturing facility located at 54 Nixon Road in Bolton, Ontario, Canada. The company is recognized for its expertise in liquid injection molding and serves a global customer base. The company operates a flagship manufacturing facility in Bolton, Ontario, delivering design, tooling, injection molding, and other value-added manufacturing services to a global customer base.
Shane’s contributions are integral to Silcotech’s commitment to delivering innovative and efficient silicone manufacturing solutions.
Erin Laporte is the Project Administration Specialist at Silcotech North America Inc., a global leader in precision silicone molding. As part of the Project Management Team, she assists the team throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation phase (Request for Quote), through prototype/development stages until production.
She holds an Honors Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto. Prior to working at Silcotech, Erin gained over 23 years’ experience in Research & Development in the pharmaceutical industry. She started as a chemist in the Bioanalytical Laboratory and transitioned to a Project Leader overseeing clinical trials. She is a trained lead investigator in QMS with experience in both conducting and participating in quality audits and FDA/Health Canada regulatory inspections. Being part of such a highly regulated industry, Erin gained and brings to the team valuable skills including problem solving, attention to detail, organizational skills, communication skills, leadership and focus on quality. Erin is First Aid Certified.
Erin is a Caledon resident and in her spare time, she is an active volunteer with the Caledon Female Hockey Association. She holds the role of Head Trainer and supports various teams with managerial and safety aspects/requirements.
